ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY
The Industrial Electrical Technology program includes basic AC and DC circuits, residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, motors and motor controls and PLC’s (programmable logic controllers). The goal of the program is to prepare students for electrical careers.
History
Industrial Electricity Program began August 1977. Paul Witten was the first instructor and taught in the program until retirement July 2000. Johnny Beasley became the second instructor until July 2006. Paul Witten returned to become the third instructor August 2006. The Industrial Electricity has developed many good Electricians and continues to develop Electricians for the future.
